August works with Goodwood on Festival of Speed app

August, the award-winning content arm of Publicis UK, has provided key integrations for an app for Goodwood ahead of its annual motor racing event Festival of Speed, which kicks off on 12 July.

Goodwood Motorsport offers Goodwood Festival of Speed visitors a clever way to plan their day. It will also keep punters up to date with other Goodwood events throughout the year. August’s back-end technical team built an API service that relays content from to the app itself. The API handles videos, news event information and menu content. The team also developed a secure link between the app and Goodwood’s CRM system.

Multiple stakeholders helped deliver Goodwood Motorsport including Goodwood, Pulselive and Trillium. The app is available for iOS and Android and is free to download.
